Asylum Ad Astra

  • I am someone who wants to escape reality by taking refuge with the stars; not just in the night sky, but in outer space. One strong way for an artist like myself to fight reality is with imagination. As a photo manipulator, I interact with the divinity of the stars and other celestial objects with my eccentric idea of hypothetical events by altering myself from original pictures into a number of backgrounds I created from scratch. I imagine myself gliding over the clouds in front of a supermoon, walking around the sun on an orbit crafted from dismantled asteroids, bathing in a cold lake with the polar lights, and even watching a star escape from a black hole. There are people who say that those events are impossible, but I want to share them a story that is based on imagination, not just creativity.
  • As an artist, I believe in the power of imagination because it helps you create what you want without regrets if you put your heart into it. With my photo manipulation skills, I am creating a story of a journey where the stars inside and out are allies and friends of Mother Earth.
